Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can be beneficial for anyone seeking to better understand themselves, manage difficult emotions, or navigate life’s challenges. You don’t need to have a specific diagnosis or be in crisis to benefit, sometimes simply having a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts and feelings is enough to begin making meaningful changes.

  • What if I’m not sure what I want to talk about?

That’s completely okay! Many people come to therapy feeling unsure about where to start. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’m here to support and guide you as you explore what matters most to you in the moment. You don’t need to have all the answers upfront, our work together is about discovery and growth at your own pace.

  • Are you covered by the public German health insurance?

I only accept private payment, but I offer flexible sliding scale rates based on individual circumstances. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss this further. Additionally, some clients have been able to receive reimbursement through private health insurance providers that cover therapy with healing practitioners.

  • What are your qualifications?

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university in Germany and have several years of practical experience, including ongoing supervision, to ensure high standards of care. I am also a licensed Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie, which allows me to provide psychotherapy services in accordance with German law (Heilpraktikergesetz). This certification enables me to work with mental health concerns, ensuring my practice meets the regulatory requirements for therapeutic services in Germany
